Yellowstone Season 3 has been a gigantic success for The Paramount Network this year, with the neo-western topping video on demand store charts for a large part of the year. However, the latest season of the show is currently not available to watch on any of the major streaming services.
That will change, however, as of next month. On November 22, Yellowstone Season 3 is coming to Peacock, where it will join the first two seasons of the Kevin Costner-starring western. This will make Peacock the only place where viewers can watch all three seasons of the show, which was officially the most-watched cable show of 2020.
Though Peacock does have a free tier where viewers can watch many of the streamer’s shows for free with ads, Yellowstone will mostly be behind the streamer’s paywall. The first-ever episode of the Paramount show is available o watch for free, but the rest is offered as part of the paid premium tiers.
The NBCUniversal streaming service offers two such tiers, subscribers to both of which will be able to watch all of Yellowstone. To watch the full catalog of Peacock, viewers can pay $4.99 a month (or $49.99 a year) to watch with ads and $9.99 a month ($99.99 a year) to view without commercials. Both Peacock Premium tiers offer a seven-day free trial allowing you to watch not only Yellowstone but originals like Brave New World and classic shows like Parks and Recreation for free for a week.
Though Yellowstone Season 3 is coming to Peacock, it will also be available on The Paramount Network website.
For fans who missed the show when it first aired, the synopsis for the most recent season reads: “Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders—an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.
“Season 3 welcomes Josh Holloway to the cast that includes Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards and Gil Birmingham.”
While fans get the chance to watch Yellowstone Season 3 again, the cast are already hard at work making Season 4. As the show is mostly filmed on a remote ranch, it was able to go back to shooting post-COVID much earlier than series shot in busy towns and cities. Filming began on Season 4 in late August 2020.
As all three seasons so far have aired in mid-June, the next set of episodes are expected to follow suit, airing in the summer of 2021 before coming to streaming.
Yellowstone Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Peacock Premium. Season 3 comes to Peacock Premium on November 22, 2020. Season 4 s coming to The Paramount Network in 2021.
