METUCHEN – Middlesex County and North Jersey Transportation Authority officials will hold a virtual public meeting Wednesday on a planned safety improvement project along Main Street between Talmadge and Brunswick avenues.
The county project received funds through the Local Safety Program established by the NJTPA and state Department of Transportation funded through the Federal Highway Administration’s Highway Safety Improvements Program. The federal program advances safety improvements on county and local roads.
The 7 p.m. meeting will solicit input and comments on the proposed improvements. Representatives from the county, borough and NJTPA, along with Michael Baker International, the consultant engineering firm, will be available to answer questions.
